I’m Flor Cagliero, a passionate and dedicated Scout from Argentina and now based in Switzerland, by Spiez.

After my time at KISC, I am deeply committed to keep contributing to the Centre to be inclusive, relevant and inspiring. I want to enable more young people from diverse backgrounds to live the unique KISC experience to help them become a better version of themselves.
As an Argentinian Scout, I understand the struggles of underprivileged communities where I played a key role in establishing a Community Involvement Centre in a vulnerable neighbourhood. I have recently finished my term as the International Commissioner and now lead the Fundraising team to strengthen the Movement in Argentina.
My KISC journey started with becoming one of the remote volunteers for the Centenary on the Fundraising and Partnerships Team. At that point, I had never even been to the Centre or even to Europe. A few months later I arrived at KISC as Long-Term Staff to support the planning and delivery of the Centenary. I’ve fallen in love with this community, its history and how it represents the Scouting values.
Together with a team of countless volunteers, we have celebrated KISC like never before. Through my time at Kandersteg, I have learned so much and it shaped my personal and professional life in ways I would have never even imagined. This brought me an incredible sense of purpose and belonging. Now I work in a Swiss accounting firm, and decided to call the Bernese Alps my home.
I bring passion, dedication and a unique perspective from South America.
“Be curious, not judgmental” - a guiding motto, introduced by KISC friends, that I yearn to live by. I aspire to be part of a curious Committee that looks strategically into the Centre’s operations, ensuring the best experience for guests and supporting the well-being of staff.
With this in mind, I’m ready to do my part in getting KISC ready for the next 100 years!

"}]
